Purchasing Assistant

Job Scope

  • Responsible for answering all emails from vendors in a timely manner (Gmail)
  • Attaching invoices to Purchase Orders
  • Forward emails regarding price increases to the Purchasing Department
  • Process purchasing invoices using DellData or QuickBooks
  • Process freight invoices using DellData or QuickBooks (attach all documents to PO)
  • Distribute overhead invoices via Gmail or Asana

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in invoicing, purchasing, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Experience in using QuickBooks, MS Excel, and/or Asana is a PLUS
