Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media and Marketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing DFC’s online presence, driving marketing initiatives, and fostering customer engagement. This position involves close collaboration with the Marketing Manager and Content Creators to promote the services effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
- Oversee and manage content for DFC’s Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn pages.
- Develop and maintain a content calendar for daily/weekly posts.
- Engage with followers and respond to inquiries across social media platforms.
- Identify and engage with potential new customers and followers.
Content Creation and Strategy:
- Collaborate with the Marketing Manager and Content Creators to develop compelling content.
- Manage and schedule content to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
Analytics and Reporting:
- Generate monthly reports on social media analytics and trends to track growth and engagement.
- Monitor web traffic, SEO performance, and report on online reviews and feedback.
Customer Engagement and Growth:
- Implement strategies to increase social media following and engagement.
- Monitor and respond to inbound social media traffic promptly and professionally.
Website and Email Marketing:
- Update and maintain website and app blogs, banners, and pages.
- Manage the email platform, build email lists, and schedule email marketing campaigns.
Education and Minimum Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field (preferred); new graduates welcome.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in social media or digital marketing with a proven track record of successful campaigns (required).
- In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, best practices, and proficiency in management/analytics tools like Hootsuite and Google Analytics (required).
- Strong skills in communication, copywriting, editing, and creative content generation (required).
- Understanding of digital marketing concepts, SEO, and basic graphic design skills (preferred).
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, interpret metrics, and collaborate effectively with teams (required).
