Job Summary:
The primary goal of the Senior NOC Technician is to provide advanced technical support and expertise to the NOC team, ensuring that critical incidents and complex issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert and go-to resource for the NOC team, providing guidance and mentorship on advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Quickly diagnose and remediate complex technical issues that less experienced NOC Technicians are unable to resolve independently.
- Collaborate with internal technical teams (e.g., network, systems, application) to coordinate the response and resolution of critical incidents.
- Identify and implement proactive measures to prevent recurring issues and improve the overall reliability of the IT infrastructure.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the NOC team’s processes, tools, and knowledge base.
- Ensure all incidents are properly documented and relevant information is communicated to stakeholders.
Education and Minimum Skill Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-4 years in a technical support or IT operations role
- Extensive hands-on experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex issues across various IT systems and technologies.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and escalating critical incidents and outages.
- Experience in a 24/7 monitoring or NOC environment is highly desirable.
