Job Summary:
The Medical Biller is responsible for processing medical claims to insurance companies and payers. A key player in the Revenue Cycle Management who manages the claims process, including accurate and timely claim creation, follow-up and corresponds to providers with insurance inquiries/correspondence.
Qualifications:
Preferably has at least 6 months’ experience with a healthcare or medical insurance account
Proficiency in the following processes:
- Charge entry
- Accounts Receivable
- Posting payments
- Utilizing modifiers
- Patient Statement Submission
