Human Resource Talent Management Expert

Job Summary:

As an HR Talent Management Expert your goal is to create a seamless experience for employees from hire to retire by optimizing strategic talent management to build and develop high functioning teams. You are responsible for developing, facilitating, implementing, and evaluating strategies in retaining and developing employees. This role focuses on, Leadership development, training, coaching and best practice implementation, employee learning and development, career path learning programs aligned with succession planning, performance management and employee engagement functions.

Key Responsibilities:

You will get your hands full in all these exciting HR functions:

Leadership and Employee Learning and Development:

  • Assess and identify individual and organizational development needs
  • Design, develop and facilitate specialized training programs driving professional and interpersonal efficiency and productivity
  • Monitor and evaluate the success of the development plans to maximize learning opportunities
  • Identify and deliver training and career development opportunities that align with employee career paths
  • Create, develop, facilitate and evaluate leadership development training courses

Performance Management:

  • Manage the performance review process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Support managers in providing constructive feedback, goal setting, and tracking performance.
  • Develop and implement strategies for improving employee performance and engagement.
  • Design, implement and oversee the annual performance review cycle, linking performance results to employee total rewards programs.

Succession Planning:

  • Work with leadership to identify critical roles and potential successors within the organization.
  • Develop succession planning strategies to ensure business continuity and leadership development.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of succession planning efforts and recommend adjustments.

Employee Engagement

  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve employee engagement and retention.
  • Design, administer, collect and analyze employee feedback through surveys, focus groups, and other mechanisms; creates strategic action plans based on the surveys.
  • Collaborate with HR and other departments to create a positive organizational culture and ensure employee satisfaction.
  • Design & deliver effective leadership and employee engagement from onboarding through retirement.

Organizational Design and Effectiveness

  • Conduct regular assessments of the organization’s structure, including reporting lines, team composition, and decision-making processes to ensure they align with business goals and objectives.
  • Analyze, design, and implement changes to the organization’s structure and processes, in order to improve performance, optimize workflows, and enhance employee engagement
  • Identify the right spans and layers for optimal organizational structure

Education and Minimum Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and any HR certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years in talent management, 8-10 years of progressive experience preferred.
  • Emphasis in Learning and Development preferred.
  • Working knowledge in talent management principles, employee development strategies, and performance management practices and employee engagement.
  • International company/multi-country experience preferred.
  • BPO or high-volume employee sizes with hourly workforces preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong background in employee engagement strategies and implementation of employee engagement activities with past track record of success in results within the given timelines and budget in a multi-site and remote environments.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Skilled across Microsoft Office Suite.
