Human Resource Business Partner

Job Summary:

As an HR Business Partner, you will be the strategic and operational liaison between HR and specific business functions within the company. Your role will involve working closely with management and employees to provide hands-on and strategic support on a wide range of people-related issues. You will play a critical role in talent management, employee relations, coaching, compensation, conflict resolution, organizational development, and training, ensuring that all HR initiatives align with and advance the company’s business objectives.

True Business Partnering with leadership and employee impact:

  • Strategic Initiatives: Designing, implementing and continuous improvement of practices and standards across the HR portfolio of work impacting all employee and leadership levels
  • Business initiatives: Understanding and crafting solutions for all employee related impacts of business initiatives.
  • Represent HR and Leadership Excellence to our workforce ensuring every employee knows they have a resource to turn to and every leader has a coach/mentor for guidance.

Lead, develop and/or implement corporate-wide programs in the areas of:

  • Total Rewards: Communicate strategically and tactically the implementation of Job Architecture, compensation range justification & leveling, benefits and employee program design
  • Talent Management & Employee Lifecyle Management: Designing & delivering effective employee programs including but not limited to Performance Philosophy, Performance Management cycle and application, Performance Results tied to rewards, Company-Wide Engagement programs, Employee Surveys with action plans, budget and measurements of effectiveness.
  • Employee Relations: Design initiatives to proactively address issues, streamline and ensure all company policies and practices support equitable treatment of all employees with specialized knowledge across labor relations, wage and hour regulations, health and safety, and union interactions.
  • Communications & Change Management: Utilize various mediums (in-person, virtual, company-wide, functional) to enhance company and team pride.

Education and Skill Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree and any HR certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of strategic experience spanning a wide variety of HR specialties and experience leading teams. 8-10 years of progressive experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation and benefits, HR operations, employee relations, recruitment, performance management and learning and development.
  • Emphasis/significant years of experience in program design, roll out and leading multi-layers of employees and management through Talent Management, Employee Retention, Learning & Development, or Total Rewards preferred.
  • International company/multi-country experience preferred.
  • BPO or high-volume employee sizes with hourly workforces preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Skilled across Microsoft Office Suite
