Job Summary:
We are seeking a Finance Ops Assistant to support the SVP of Finance in day-to-day financial operations, data management, and strategic initiatives within a fast-paced infusion therapy environment. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to grow their financial skill set.
You will assist in data entry, drug price analysis, pattern recognition across financial datasets, and various ad hoc projects that help drive key financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry & Management:
o Input, validate, and maintain financial data, including drug pricing, reimbursement rates, and purchasing records.
- Excel-Based Analysis:
o Build and update spreadsheets for tracking drug costs, revenue metrics, and payer reimbursements.
o Perform comparisons of infusion drug prices across suppliers and payers, identifying variances and trends.
- Pattern Recognition & Insights:
o Analyze datasets to spot trends or anomalies (e.g., shifts in drug margins, payer payment delays).
o Summarize findings in clear, concise formats (tables, charts, or memos).
- Ad Hoc Financial Projects:
o Support the SVP of Finance on special projects, including RCM analysis, cash flow reporting, or cost-saving initiatives.
o Assist with preparing materials for board presentations or financial reviews.
- Vendor & Payer Coordination:
o Assist in gathering pricing quotes or reimbursement data from drug suppliers, distributors, or RCM partners.
Education and Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred (though not mandatory if candidate has strong applicable experience).
- 2–3 years of experience in a finance operations or data-focused role.
- Background in medical billing or RCM is a plus, but not a hard requirement.
- Experience in bookkeeping or FP&A would be helpful, especially if the candidate has supported cost tracking, vendor payments, or budgeting.
- Candidates with experience in data analysis or Excel-heavy finance roles will be a good fit.
