Welcoming New Faces
Our team became even stronger this year with the addition of remarkable people who brought fresh new perspectives and expertise to FGC+.
- Christine O’Connor joined us as our new Head of HR. With her extensive experience, Christine helped streamline internal HR processes and created a much more seamless experience for our clients and team members.
- Mo Smaidi came on board as Head of Finance, bringing his vast financial expertise to optimize our financial strategies, processes, and systems to ensure sustainable long-term growth.
- Amy Zielinski recently joined us as Head of Sales. Amy is already successfully driving our sales initiatives with her
,forge and build new client partnerships.
Embracing Advancements to Tech
As FGC+ embraces the digital age, we have adopted several advancements to our network, particularly in our IT security, Training, and ERP systems.
- IT Security: As a trusted outsourcing partner, FGC+ has been committed to protecting our clients’ data. This year, FGC+ has achieved and renewed several key IT security certifications, underscoring our dedication to maintaining the highest standards in data protection as a BPO service in the Philippines. We are HIPAA-compliant, ISO-27001 Certified, and PCI DSS Compliant. These certifications highlight our efforts to provide secure scalable outsourcing solutions for all our partners.
- Digitalization of Training: To streamline training client teams faster and more efficiently, we have adopted Articulate, a cutting-edge tool designed to enhance the learning experience and ensure rapid knowledge transfer. This allows us to further boost our capabilities through more effective and engaging training sessions. With Articulate, we are setting a new standard in knowledge transfer and team readiness.
- Implementation of ERP System: FGC+ has switched to Acumatica as our ERP system that will help streamline operations, improve efficiency, and ensure better management of our resources. By centralizing data across departments, it enables us real-time access to critical information, which enhances our decision-making. By automating key processes, we have reduced manual errors, boosted productivity, and maintained consistent service quality, ultimately improving client satisfaction and driving growth.
Global Town Hall!
FGC+ hosted its Global Town Hall Meeting in May of this year to bring together employees from all levels and departments to share important updates, align on corporate goals, foster collaboration, and strengthen company culture. . Alex Pabon, our Head of Operations, and Christine O’Connor checked in at our Philippines offices to give in-person talks. In exchange, the two were given a warm Filipino welcome and a taste of that world-famous hospitality!
Additional teams from our Bacolod and Davao offices joined the rest of our FGC+ executives, including our CEO, Moshe Greenfeld, virtually and were caught up on the company’s current standing and upcoming strategic initiatives.
SBE Chicago Plus FGC+
FGC+ made waves at the Small Business Expo in Chicago! Jacob Bloom, VP of Client Success & IT, and Alex Pabon represented us and engaged with business executives to discuss trends in outsourcing and how it can help reduce business costs, streamline operations, and fuel growth. These conversations underlined a growing demand for outsourcing as a practical solution to addressing key small business challenges. Catch up with us at more trade shows coming in 2025!
Evolution of Outsourcing Webinar
We made sure to impart knowledge not just for clients but for anyone curious about outsourcing. Our webinar series hosted by Susannah Blexrud (Director of Growth and Revenue) and Jacob Bloom was a resounding success! Strengthening Client Relationships
In October, Jacob and Alex conducted consultative reviews with several Northeast U.S. clients. These visits reinforced our full-service approach. As clients of FGC+, we were more than happy to provide them with actionable insights to enhance their operational efficiency and explore new opportunities for their business.
Celebrating Holidays and Events
The year isn’t complete without our fair share of holidays and events! Our teams were treated to a variety of celebrations sprinkled throughout the year and made each new month a surprise to look forward to!
- Lunar New Year Celebration: Our teams embraced the spirit of the New Year, celebrating new beginnings the Asian way with a vibrant celebration filled with food, fun, and camaraderie.
- Valentine’s Day: Love and appreciation were in the air as we organized events to celebrate the connections that made working at FGC+ special.
- Filipino Festivals: As a team made up of mostly Filipino talent, we made sure our team celebrated their heritage and local culture. We held in-office events for the Kadayawan Festival in Davao and the Masskara Festival in Bacolod with activities that showcased the spirit and pride of our teams in these key locations.
- Spooktacular Halloween: Halloween was a festive highlight this year! We organized a trick-or-treat event for kids, a costume contest for employees, and a decoration competition that brought out everyone’s creativity and team spirit.
Team Building Activities
The year was full of team building activities across many different teams and departments. From small table gatherings, to even fun beach day outs, this demonstrates our passion to supporting and strengthening relationships across our teams.
Moshe’s Birthday
Of course, we couldn’t forget the birthday of our one and only CEO, Moshe! Although the celebration was virtual for most of our team, we wouldn’t miss it for the world! Moshe was treated to a surprise party filled with love and happy messages from everyone across FGC+. He’s the one that founded FGC+ and built the uplifting culture in the first place, after all!
FGC+ Fun Day
Our teams from Bacolod and Davao enjoyed a break from working hard and got together for a day under the sun! The first-ever FGC+ Fun Day was filled with laughter, games, and building stronger connections among colleagues — this time, we held the Fun Day in multiple places to allow everyone to attend regardless of our office location!
FGC+ Year-End Party: Amplify!
Lastly, as a cap-off to the year, we toasted to our success in December celebrating all our achievements! The theme for 2024’s Year-End Party was aptly titled, Amplify — a rockstar party where we turned up the volume from good to great! This brought us full circle to what we wanted to achieve this year.
