Operations Trainer

Job Summary:

The FGC+ trainer is the primary contact for training delivery and holds a critical role in the success of a new hire employee’s onboarding. This trainer will support primarily Medical Billing campaigns. As the subject matter expert for the program that he/she supports, this leader of the training class is responsible for preparing every trainee by equipping him/her with the right skills and knowledge to handle the job and later, consistently meet the client’s expectations in Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintains relevant product knowledge for the account that he/she supports by immersing him/herself in product updates and taking live contacts and/or cases if necessary

2. Responsible for managing the program’s training expectations such as classroom management, monitoring trainee progress throughout the training duration, and providing developmental feedback to ensure trainee mastery and readiness

3. Measures training program effectiveness by rolling out a survey by the end of each class, through focus group discussions (FGD), classroom discussions, and/or Q&A and uses the feedback objectively to recommend training material enhancements as appropriate

4. Apply effective facilitation and presentation skills while bearing in mind the adult learning methodology throughout the discussion

5. Identify the trainees’ learning styles to adjust teaching approaches accordingly

6. Ensures that all training materials are complete and at par with FGC+ and the client expectations

7. Builds and updates the Knowledge Base for the accounts that he/she supports

8. May be tapped to assist with instructional design tasks for accounts that may not have the proper training materials before the actual training classes begin

9. Helps keep the Operations and Quality teams updated on any process changes and shares data-driven opportunities for process improvement

10. Has overall accountability of every trainee’s training KPIs

11. Ensures that the trainees are supported well during their transition from Product-Specific Training to Nesting to assist Operations with efficiently shortening their learning curve

12. Attends calibration sessions with the Quality team and Operations if bandwidth allows (e.g., no training classes)

13. Develop educational materials, such as digital presentations, how-to manuals, and instructional videos

Education and Minimum Skill Requirements:

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATION

  • At least 2 years of experience in medical billing or handling healthcare accounts
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and customer interaction platforms
  • Excellent MS Office proficiency (Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with healthcare accounts or campaigns
  • Familiarity with healthcare compliance and regulations
  • Professional and excellent English communication skills, phone manners and writing skills
  • Uphold high ethical standards and moral behavior outlined in the company’s Code of Conduct
  • Strong attention to details and resourceful
  • Highly analytical, engaging, proactive and with forward mindset
  • Self-driven and a team player
  • With client interface experience
  • Preferred qualification with at least 3 to 5 years of QA experience in the BPO industry

Preferred Qualifications (Having any one of these is a plus!)

  • Training Certification
  • Trainer experience in a BPO setup
