The Customer Service – Online Reputation Specialist is expected to ensure that the reputation of the business, its brands, products, or services are always favorable online. It is his/her job to ensure that a good reputation is promoted, and a bad reputation is negated, by reviewing bad reviews and feedback online and reaching out to customers to resolve and increase good ratings.
Research, assess, and analyze reviews and prepare reports that will be helpful in having visibility on the reviews and online reputation, as well as in strategizing for the best courses of action.
Keep a watch on all activities related to the reputation of the business. Be able to neutralize negative reviews that are created for the business – they should diffuse such situations immediately.
Reach out to dissatisfied customers to control and resolve the negative reviews via phone calls, email, etc.
Collaborate with different departments to take immediate action when the company’s reputation has been tarnished through bad reviews in any specific website or online platforms.
Increase online ratings and reviews.
To undertake other duties commensurate with the job grade as requested by the immediate superior
Bachelor’s Degree or any related field of study
At least 6 months to 1-year customer service and client relationship experience (doesn’t need to be high level)
Excellent written and verbal English skills
Familiarity with E-Commerce and its dynamics a plus
Have an understanding of search engine behavior (not necessarily requiring SEO skills), social media, forums, blogs, ratings, and reviews, etc. in different online selling platforms, websites, etc.
