Medical Billing Team Leader

Job Summary:

The Medical Billing Team Leader is responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of medical billing specialists to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient processing of patient claims and billing. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitors and tracks agents’ productivity
  • Maintains and coaches agents in delivering Quality transactions
  • Checks daily attendance and daily reports of all the assigned Pros under his/her supervision
  • Practice and carry out operational standards to manage overall team performance and attrition rate
  • Client relations – communicate and coordinate with the client regularly

Education and Minimum Skill Requirements:

  • 1-2 years as a Team Leader in a Healthcare account with billing experience for providers
  • Must have an excellent English Communication Skills
  • Demonstrate strong problem handling and analytical skills
  • Demonstrate an ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Must have high tolerance for stress
  • Organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Willing to work night shifts and on-site
