Medical Billing Assistant III

Job Summary:

The Medical Billing Assistant provides support by monitoring daily number of admissions and discharges in medical service facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily number of admissions and discharges in medical facilities assigned
  • Ensure accuracy of data in all files and systems used to monitor daily census
  • Posting deposit payments to patient’s accounts and create folders of the remitted deposits in a system

Education and Minimum Skill Requirements:

  • Willing to WORK ON-SITE and in the EVENING SHIFT
  • Comfortable working with numbers
  • Keen attention to detail, especially involving checking forms and documents for proper information
  • Extremely organized and able to multi-task
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate confidently and diplomatically with customers, co-workers, and clients
  • Proficient in customer service
  • Active listening and comprehension skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
